I am a photographer who uses image making as a research tool to explore the feminine identity and the intersection point of the emotional and surrounding world.
I am combining staged photography with mundane observations, working mainly with portraits and personal archive. These two different ways of seeing come together in open narratives, which eventually help me create an alternative reality in which feelings and memories take over the rational.
My approach is playful and comes in hand as a key to access dark topics such as loss, grief and sexuality. This contrast adds a layer of bittersweetness to my work, allowing me to dig into the state of everyday nostalgia.
